The Eros Story
After creating the commissioned dress for her client, Rowena thought why shouldn’t this beautiful dress that was fit for a ball yet was stored in a hat box, requiring little maintenance, be available to all? Thus, the Eros dress was born.
Inspired by Mariano Fortuny’s 1907 ‘Delphos’ dress, Rowena created the Eros dress for the modern woman: Feminine, elegant, freeing and versatile. The design is based around the patent-pending hand pleated silk fabric. It is then adorned with semi precious stones. Eros is innovative, timeless and celebrates the female. Eros will stay with you over your lifetime, and is designed to fit your body, no matter what stage of life you are in!
Fabric
The dress is made of seven and a half yards of hand pleated silk charmeuse. Rowena keeps her method close to heart just as Marino Fortuny did. The end result of this is an amazing show of meters and meters of hand pleated silk. The process is patent pending, making this hand pleated silk fabric method unique to Eros and Rowena's designs.
Belts
The Belts are made from soft brown lambs skin leather piped with reversible silk embroidered motives. Eros is embellished by this simple belt centering around one's waist. Each Eros dress comes with a belt that Rowena has personally picked out to highlight the beautiful hand pleated silk fabric.

I can be worn long sleeve, short sleeve , round neck, V-neck, loose or belted.
I am an extremely good travelling companion as I wrap into a little hat box for storage and need no pressing on arrival
I shall also become your most loyal companion in your wardrobe and will never let you down, no matter where we go together.
If we have been dancing night after night, please send me back to my maker to be refreshed and re-pleated.
I will then be sent back to you ready to dance the night away again, and join you once again for all of our adventures "
