I work closely with my clients in my country studio base in the heart of Millbrook in the Hudson Valley, New York. Firstly we work upon the type of function that you are attending. I pay strong attention to the role that they play in the event, enhancing their assets and giving them all the confidence they need. A bespoke gown is a big part of one’s self expression, it is an extension of who we are and what we would like to express. I see it as a tool.
From conceptualizing to sketching to making the first muslins, the bespoke gown is well on its way to a 3-D dimension.
Hours and hours of detailing ...pleating ....tacking... pinning ...sewing fittings...all by hand.
My fabrics come from all four corners of the world. I concentrate on sculpting the volume and shape, keeping in mind to enhance the client’s body to its best potential.
